HARSHA FARMS is a First of its kind in India having an Integrated Family farming doing in 140 Acres of land with Fully Automated Dairy Farm, Orchards Farming & Vegetable Farming.

HARSHA FARMS was started in the year of 2011 at Eduluru Village, Kattangoor Mandal, Nalgonda Dist., Telangana by Mr. K.S. Rao, who is a Mechanical Engineering Graduate from Sri Venkateshwara University. Being from farmers family, having immense interest to develop agriculture, harticulture under dairy farming by using modern technology and tools.

HARSHA FARMS shall carry out planning and combinations of various crops on the basis of geographic conditions for maximum yield by adopting modern technology from labor intensive one. It carries out right from the selection of seeds and saplings nurture till harvesting by its own nursery under In-house well experienced Agriculturists & Horticulturists guidelines.

As a first step setup with 200 Healthy Buffalos and 150 Cows comprising of lactating & Dry Buffalo’s at any point of time.

The Farm is equipped with one number of 16 Automatic milking units parlour system with the system connected through Milk Point Controllers and connected with ALPRO – Herd Software. The System will give total milk yield per milking session. The system connected with Automatic Identification with help of which every Buffalo / Cow will be recorded with each milk yield.

The Milk will be collected in Bulk Milk cooler of suitable capacity coming directly from the parlour to achieve maximum quality and efficiency and ensures the production of Untouched Milk. The Bulk Milk Cooler is also equipped with independent cleaning and cooling Control.

Building Construction will be done in such a way which facilitates mechanization of Manure removal feed dispensing, water dispensing & individual Buffalo resting place with Rubber mats and dairy cooling fans.

A Vertical mixer provides a good, fluffy feed mix within a short mixing time. A unique anger design in combination with the counter knives mixes and cuts even whole round bales and long straw, the homogenous mix ensures that Buffalos eat all the components, concentrate and other ingredients are so well mixed together; the Buffalo can’t pick out just that she likes. Distribution is simple and precise, so each group of Buffalos will get the right amount of good qualify feed.

The swinging Brush is designed to improve animal health, comfort and welfare. The brush starts to rotate on contact at an animal friendly speed. It swings freely in all directions smoothly up, over and alongside the Buffalo. The bristles have the right length and hardness to stimulate the blood circulation whilst helping the Buffalo to keep clean and calm.

Buffalo comfort and functionality to satisfy the demands of high milking Buffalos in a resting area, the unique cubicle is designed to consistently promote Buffalo’s nature behaviour.

Water Trough Tip Tank gives a high capacity water supply for animals. The tip tank provides a large, calm drinking surface from which the animal can drink quickly and without stress.

Hydraulic operating scrapper with 2 alleys in one shed with cows each are designed for a maximum 3.6 metres with and construction of barns will be done in such a way that removal of slurry from manure alleys in the barn will be possible by using hydraulic scrapers can be fitted in the manure alleys.

CO-4 , KKM, Sugar Gauge & African Tall Variety Fodders are grown in our Farm. These Fodders are grown without using any pesticide and the average protein maintained ranging from 8% to 11%. Dewatered Manure & Vermicompost are used to grow the Fodders.
